Biography

Daniel Newark received his BA, MA in Economics, and PhD in Organization Studies from Stanford University.  His research focuses on decision making, identity, prosocial behavior, and social influence and persuasion, and has appeared in leading management and psychology journals, such as Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Discoveries, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Organization Science, and Social Psychological and Personality Science.  His work has also been covered by a variety of media outlets, including Harvard Business ReviewStanford Business MagazinePBS Newshour, The Christian Science Monitor, and Salon.com.      

In the classroom, Daniel Newark has taught Masters, MBA, Exec Ed, and PhD courses in behavioral decision making, organizational behavior, leadership, social psychology in organizations, strategy, and organizational theory.
