HEC Paris Professor Denis Gromb Named Associate Editor of The Rand Journal of Economics
A senior HEC Paris professor Denis Gromb has been appointed Associate Editor of the Rand Journal of Economics . As its new editor, Gromb will oversee the publication’s support and encouragement of research in the behavior of regulated industries, the economic analysis of organizations, and more generally, applied microeconomics.
Gromb, professor of finance at HEC Paris, has written several articles that have been published in leading academic journals in Economics and Financ e. His principal research interests include corporate finance, corporate governance, banking, the economics of organizations and the limits to arbitrage in financial markets.
As a graduate from Ecole Polytechnique where he also obtained a PhD in Economics while visiting the London School of Economics, Gromb also teaches courses related to Corporate Finance on different programs such as Grande Ecole, Master in Economics, Part-time MBA, and the Executive MSc in Finance.
He has also previously been a member of the Finance faculty at MIT (1995-2001), London Business School (2001-2008), INSEAD (2008-2015), and visited the London School of Economics (2007-2008).
The RAND Journal of Economics is published quarterly out of the United States by The RAND Corporation, in conjunction with Wiley-Blackwell Publishing .
